Retro Sketch - Google Play Launch

It took Google Play over half a month to review Retro Sketch, but it finally has accepted the app and launched it on the Play Store for Android. We are very excited, both because we didn’t know how long the review process was going to go on (we heard about 2 month long horror stories), and obviously because it is our first app launch of Retro Sketch!

If you check out the permissions for our app, you’ll see we don’t even request network access. We are not into tracking people, we just want to make it easy for people to animate and draw pixel art. We also don’t show advertisements or anything like that, so we thought that the review process would go smoothly. However, I think that Google Play is just backed up on reviews/staff and so it is taking much longer for new companies to launch apps.

Needless to say, we are extremely excited to have Retro Sketch available on Android now for download. Please consider giving the app a try, and don’t forget to check out our documentation and our video tutorials on how to get the most out of the app!
