The Situation With Retro Sketch on Android

So Retro Sketch is not currently available on Android right now. Google sent some emails about canceling our account back in May that we missed due to many factors we were dealing with. This does mean that the android version is currently unavailable for download at this time.

In our last post, we discussed that we recently re-wrote our C engine to Go and then back to C from Go. In this process, we did not hook back up the Android code. It all still exists but needs to be ported over to use the new codes api. Due to this, the Android version may be unavailable for a little while until we can get that code back in.

This also means we need to set up a new developer account with Google and go through all that process again. It also means we’ll probably have to wait another 3 weeks after publishing for Google to review again. This whole process is quite annoying, but we’ll eventually get it sorted out.
